Dr. Roberts supervises our Sidney doctoral residents and our Westshore doctoral resident, Kate Cluley. In this role, Dr. Roberts provides experienced guidance, knowledge and expertise ensuring all doctoral resident services are of the same high quality and excellence standard Dr. Roberts herself has provided for over 20 years.
Considered a go-to child psychology expert for journalists, Dr. Roberts is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post, Global News and the CBC. She is the author of two best-selling and award-winning series of children's books. "Just Enough" explains topics like birth and diversity to children ages 3-6, while "The World Around Us" introduces kids ages 5-8 to issues like poverty and online safety. She is also the author of "Kids, Sex & Screens: Raising Strong, Resilient Children in the Sexualized Digital Age", a book for parents seeking to help their preteens navigate our hypersexualized world.
In addition to being a highly sought after registered psychologist, tenured professor and author, Dr. Roberts is also a wife and a mom to three children.

Michelle is a Registered Psychologist who obtained her Master of Education in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary.
She has over eighteen years of experience as a special education teacher and school psychologist, has worked in several school boards within Alberta, and has served on various province-wide committees with a focus on mental health initiatives.
Michelle uses a collaborative, culturally sensitive, and strength-based approach when working with individuals, their families, and various support systems. She has extensive training and experience in the identification and treatment of Intellectual Disabilities, Specific Learning Disorders, Giftedness, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, and Depression. Michelle also specializes in the areas of teen mental health, school concerns, and supporting LGBTQ2S+ individuals.
Michelle lives in Saanich with her wife and three dogs. She is also a Canada Soccer C License certified coach and passionate Manchester United Football Club supporter.

Lisa graduated with a Masters in Education with emphasis in Psychology from Pepperdine University and is currently working towards a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) through California Southern University. Lisa is Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. Lisa works under the supervision of Dr. Jillian Roberts.
Lisa is a wife and mother to five children. She enjoys time with her family, long walks, and loves reading. One day she will walk the ancient pilgrimage route from Canterbury to Rome.
Jorina Overhoff

Jorina has joined us from Germany and has an M.Sc in Psychology. She previously worked as a child psychologist at a children's neurological centre in Germany where she worked with a team assessing and diagnosing developmental disorders. At our clinic she assists with psychometry and the assessment process. When out of office Jorina enjoys yoga, photography, and making pizza from scratch.

Brandi Cowie is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (CHCPBC).
She believes that clients benefit from a strong therapeutic relationship. Building a relationship that is accepting, non-judgmental, and emphatic helps foster a client’s comfort and willingness toward change. The therapy process is tailored to meet the needs of the client and where they are at in their personal journey.
Tasha Liberatore

Tasha has a Masters of Education Psychology in Special Education and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor. She has 20 years experience in direct counselling and/or acting as a case manager for elementary, middle, and high school students. Tasha also works with adults. Tasha's preferred counselling style is a mix of Narrative, Solution Focused, and Strength Based Therapies. Her specialization is working with people with ADHD, learning disabilities and/or have family members with disabilities, as well as individuals struggling with a multitude of concerns; some of which include anxiety, stress, motivation, attention, depression, trauma, grief, difficulty with transitions, healthy relationships or self-esteem. Tasha is an active volunteer in her community with a variety of sports associations as well as the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre.

Emily is a Psychometrist at our Sidney Location. She currently holds a Masters of Education in Educational Psychology and Leadership Studies with a focus in special education. Emily joined our team from Saskatchewan where she developed her practical background in Applied Behaviour Analysis. When out of office Emily enjoys exploring new hiking trails around B.C.

Emily is a Psychometrist and Counselling Intern at our Sidney location. She holds a Masters of Education in Educational Psychology with a focus in special education. Emily has a background working in healing contexts with a wide range of people. During her free time Emily enjoys reading, exploring Vancouver Island, and spending time with her family and friends
