Collaborative Care Centre. Helping to unlock true potential.

Assessment for Indigenous Individuals

MindKey Health stands out as an Indigenous owned and operated company, deeply rooted in the principles of reconciliation and cultural sensitivity. Co-owned by Dr. Jillian Roberts and Stephen Roberts, RCC, CCC, who is a respected Elder of the Métis Nation of BC, the company embodies a strong commitment to supporting the Indigenous communities. MindKey Health’s innovative approach includes a custom reporting style designed to deliver psychological assessment data in a way that respects cultural perspectives and emphasizes individual strengths. This approach aims not only to identify areas for growth but also to celebrate resilience and potential. The company’s dedication extends beyond assessments, as they actively work to ensure that Indigenous youth and citizens are well-informed about and can access provincial and federal funding resources. These efforts are part of MindKey Health’s broader goal to enhance the quality of life and foster enduring resilience among Indigenous populations.

Collaborative Care Team

A collaborative care centre is a psycho-educational and healthcare approach that emphasizes the integration of various professionals to provide comprehensive assessment and care for children, youth, adults and families with mental health, socio-emotional and/or developmental challenges. Our interdisciplinary team includes registered psychologists, registered clinical counsellors, certified teachers, registered nurses, therapeutic behavioural interventionists, and ADHD coaches and learning strategists. With a keen desire to ensure the highest level of training for the next generation of healthcare professionals, we also regularly provide supervised work experiences for undergraduate and graduate students in counselling and psychology. Together, we endeavour to provide the highest standard of care, guided by the MindKey Clinical Compass, which was developed by our Founder, Dr. Jillian Roberts.
